Input with SCIM in Opera 9.5 in Fedora 9

In order to make SCIM usable in Opera, there are many posts state that we should either:

• insert
  

  export QT_IM_MODULE=xim

  into /usr/bin/opera

• or, install scim-bridge-qt

But none of them are effective in my system.
What I did was just uninstall the scim-bridge, and scim works like charm.
