apache-maven-3.2.1-2 Released

I’ve updated apache-maven to 3.2.1-2 in my repo for EPEL6.

Notable changes:

  • File structure is more like maven in RHEL7.
  • Setting files are set with (noreplace), so older setting file should be backed up with .rpmsave after upgrade.
  • Executables (such as mvn) are available in /usr/bin
  •  /usr/share/apache-maven/conf is now a link to /etc/maven.
rpm -Uvh might not work, please remove the previous apache-maven before install new version.

I think some cleanup hapened, because now it’s erroring with :
http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/dchen/apache-maven/epel-6/x86_64/repodata/194b1dce25e9483ae3ce34f3e4f807770dd77705-primary.sqlite.bz2: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 – “The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found”

The reason, i believe is that the file is still referenced in https://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/dchen/apache-maven/epel-6/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml
